What Causes Uploads to Freeze at 50%?

This issue often occurs due to browser glitches, connection interruptions, or file naming problems that interrupt the upload process partway through. Even if your internet connection appears stable, some subtle factors may cause the upload to stall.

How to Fix Your Track Upload Freezing

Try these steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

1. Use a Different Browser or Incognito/Private Mode
   We recommend using Google Chrome for the smoothest experience. If Chrome is your default browser, try opening an incognito or private browsing window. Alternatively, test uploading from browsers like Firefox or Edge.

2. Rename Your Audio File
   Ensure your file name is simple and contains no special characters or symbols (such as &, %, @, #).
   For example, rename your file to trackname.mp3 or confession.wav.

3. Retry the Upload
   After renaming and switching browsers, attempt to upload your track again.
