A creator (also known as a “content creator") is an individual who contributes to the creative process resulting in a piece of content being generated. While many content creators produce all of their content themselves, sometimes they enlist the services of other creatives to make their content shine.

An influencer is a content creator who publishes content to an audience (readers, viewers, or listeners) acting as a distribution channel and offering exposure and promotion to the content being shared. While some influencers have more audience reach than others, we do not use specific numbers or follower counts to qualify someone as an influencer.
